This and That

As always, Liv is keeping busy. She's learned some new phrases including, "No Way!" and, "That Mine!" We took a trip to the High Desert Museum. She liked the fish and was fascinated with the display featuring vultures scavenging on a dead deer (??? sorry Grmama). Good Friend Megan sent Liv a beautiful, handmade blanket...Liv calls it a "bankie" and likes to have Daddy wrap her up in it...this weekend we're looking forward to getting together with Liv Liv's cousins, C, A and R!

Moving Rocks...

It was a kinda-sorta-almost nice day here in Bend today...So Liv got to work outside moving rocks. She was quite intent on moving rocks from the table to the deck, to the other table, to the wading pool, to the lawn chair, etc. She wasn't whistling while she worked, but she WAS talking up a storm. Most of it was pretty garbled, but I'm pretty sure I heard, "Hey lady, I just move the rocks, okay?" And I KNOW she said, "Uh-oh, forgot my hat, gotta get my hat." She also muttered, "Look, I didn't ASK to be born with this kind of talent, it just happened!"
