Swimming and Stuff!

Olivia went swimming Saturday afternoon. She either loved it or found it incredibly boring...because she fell asleep!

Livvy enjoys "rocking out" to her "Olivia" CD that Gramma Judi gave her. It includes such billboard hits as "It's Olivia!", "A Monkey Counts to 20" and "Olivia Has Good Manners"!

Liv Visits Joseph

We took Livvy to Joseph for her Aunt Jen's baby shower...Liv is going to have ANOTHER girl cousin come July/August! Yeah, girls rule! :) She also got to meet her Greatgrandma Agnes, Greatgrandma Nette, and Greatgrandpa Elwyn.

Liv's Lullaby

Up until the last week or so, Liv has preferred to be held at all times (she has expressed this wish by crying whenever she has been set down). Thanks to an amazing book, The Happiest Baby On The Block, I've learned new ways to soothe and calm her. And, apparently, she much prefers the sounds of the vacuum cleaner over my sorry attempts to sing her lullabies. She now enjoys sitting in her bouncy chair and her swing provided her surrogate mommy, the vacuum cleaner, is "singing" nearby! :)

Big Girl Room

I've had requests to post pictures of Liv's nursery...so here it is! We worked very hard on it and it's full of wonderful toys and decor that friends and family have given her...I'm just not sure her daddy will ever let her sleep in there!!! Her room is upstairs and the master bedroom is downstairs. Nevermind the night-vision camera/baby monitor we have, daddy thinks she needs to be in our room where we can see her with our eyes! :)

6 Weeks!

Livvy's Grandpa and Grammy visited again. We visited Tumalo Falls and otherwise enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Livvy's 5 Weeks and weighs 9lbs 2 oz!

Lil' Livvy went to Portland last week. Highlights of the trip included getting professional pictures done with her cousin, a trip to Grandma Judi's office and sleeping in a drawer (because there wasn't room in the car to pack a port-a-crib). Turns out a drawer makes a VERY cozy bed! :)

Livvy's 4 Weeks!

This week Livvy's cousin visited again...she was quite helpful! She fed Liv bottles and animal crackers. Liv also went to Daddy's 5th grade track meet. She was gonna do the 5K Heaven Can Wait race with Mommy but strollers weren't allowed. Next year, Liv!
